What happens
Lois LaPaul, a dancer newly arrived in New York to work at the Blue Hour nightclub, finds herself drawn into the death of Jason White, a wealthy man she once knew. She has been placed under the watch of Anthony Lakata, the club's owner, who is impatient and secretive. Reporter Alec Mahoney has been pressing her with questions about White's death, and she is frightened by the attention and by the strange arrangement at the club. Her uneasy situation deepens as she tries to understand what Mahoney and Lakata are each hiding. This is a Suspense episode from September 25, 1947, starring Claire Trevor.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
