What happens
Paul Crane returns home from prison after two years and is reunited with his wife Jenny, who has bought them a car. Paul finds work through Jenny's employer, but his former friend Roger Miller warns him that members of his old gang are waiting to kill him, believing he informed on them. Paul arms himself and tries to flee the town with Jenny while a car follows them along the country roads. The suspense builds as they seek shelter in a deserted cabin.
