What happens
Tim Chase and his wife Hazel run a corner store in the city. When a young man attempts a holdup, Tim shoots and kills him, and the incident brings police captain Runyon to the store. Tim seems untroubled by the killing, while Hazel grows increasingly uneasy about his readiness to use a gun. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
