What happens
Jimmy Barton returns from a summer job to find his sister Helen beaten and frightened, and she tells him she has secretly married Phil Armstrong. Fleeing to Santa Monica, the two think they are finally free, until Jimmy finds Phil dead on the floor of their apartment and Helen missing. Their nosy neighbor Mrs. Gordon keeps knocking at the door as Jimmy tries to hide the body. This is an episode of Suspense, broadcast on June 19, 1947, with Elliot Reed in the lead role.
