What happens
Superman tracks Jimmy Olsen and Pocho to a Nazi garrison at the North Pole, where the two are captured and condemned to a firing squad. Colonel von Gerson boasts of a secret weapon: icebergs packed with explosives that drift into Allied convoy lanes. Superman follows the trail of the icebergs to their source, reaches the compound in time, and carries Jimmy and Pocho to safety. Later, in the Daily Planet city room, Jimmy reports the rescue to Perry White, who has ordered that no reporter leave on an assignment without his permission. This episode is part ten of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series first broadcast on February 23, 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
