What happens

Clark Kent accompanies Dr. George Haven Beecham's daughter, Elsie, to Stone House in Brentwood, where the explorer has shut himself away since returning from South America. Kent and the doctor search the house and grounds after Elsie vanishes from the library. Kent finds a taxi driver who says he drove two small brown men to the house. Darts fired from outside force the group indoors, and Dr. Beecham is struck and collapses. The episode ends with him unconscious and his daughter still missing, and it hints at a sacred emerald of the Incas. The Adventures of Superman radio series is presented here as a transcription feature, with its original air date of April 5, 1940.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
