What happens

Superman, in his guise as Clark Kent, and Lois Lane survive a sunken submarine off the coast of St. Selmo, where Horatio Barnaby's crew had been posing as a sea monster to guard a salvage operation. Later, in a state prison hospital, the dying criminal the Lepper tells his former accomplice George Lattimer about a piece of Kryptonite that can weaken Superman. Lattimer, now released, visits Clark Kent at the Daily Planet and reveals that he possesses Kryptonite, a threat that puts Superman in danger. The episode is part of the Adventures of Superman radio series, which aired in 1947 with its lead actors in the title role and as Clark Kent.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
