What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen arrive at Mount Tupangato in the Andes to look into the disappearance of nine engineers who were surveying a proposed highway. Kent suspects the mountain is home to the lost nation of the Incas, and two Inca warriors soon attack them. Kent overpowers them, takes their costumes, and he and Jimmy dye their skin brown to pass as Inca warriors. Kent plays a ceremonial flute to win over a group of twenty warriors closing in on Harry White's plane, where Lois Lane and the pilot Bronson are waiting. The warriors accept Kent as a leader, and the group must decide whether to be captured in the hope of finding the missing engineers. The episode is part seven of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on November 28, 1941.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
