What happens

Clark Kent and Lois Lane, with Perry White and a group of shipboard companions, are aboard the tanker Albatross after a naval patrol bomber arrives to rescue them. Lieutenant Saunders reports an earlier SOS from a ship of the same name and captain, and the group returns to the naval base with the captured man known as the Old Man of the Sea. Aboard a clipper bound for Metropolis, Lois meets a bearded, monocled gentleman with a Great Dane who introduces himself as Sir Alfred Kellogg Tussedo. Clark becomes convinced that this man is not the real Sir Alfred, whom he had met years earlier, and the question of who he really is remains open.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
