What happens
Lois Lane and Clark Kent investigate the murder of Dr. Chi Wan, a scholar who guarded a sixteenth-century piece of carved jade said to hold the secret of everlasting life. Harry White, recovering from a poisoned tea, tells them the doctor had warned him of his death. Lois notes that Superman was alone with Dr. Wan shortly before the killing and suspects he knows more than he has said. Clark disagrees, and the two reporters clash over the matter. Their editor, Perry White, agrees to print an appeal calling on Superman to come forward. A reply then arrives from someone claiming knowledge of the murder and asking to meet at a deserted house. This episode is part four of the serial The Mystery of the Dragon's Teeth. The original air date was March 20, 1946.
