What happens
Robin, young companion of Batman, has been arrested and accused of being the monkey burglar, a thief who scales skyscrapers to rob wealthy apartments. Clark Kent is given 48 hours to find the real culprit. Superman and Batman set a trap at the Windsor Arms, but while they wait, Robin and Jimmy Olsen are seized from Jimmy's house by men working for a figure called Spider, and a patrolman is shot. Police then report that Robin has been caught in another robbery, leaving the heroes facing a trap. The episode is part four of the series, which aired on February 17, 1947.
