What happens

Lois Lane and Bucky Taylor have been captured by henchmen of the man without a face, and Superman searches a deserted suburban house where they were last seen. He finds half-burned photographs of the World Peace Organization delegates Luigi Renasi and Salim Shah and concludes that the two men are central to a plot against the organization. Clark Kent then persuades editor Perry White to head to the State Department reception where the delegates are attending, hoping to follow them when they leave. The episode is part fourteen of The Adventures of Superman, and this part aired on April 4, 1947.

A suburban house in a metropolis suburb, then the federal investigation offices, a secluded estate, and the streets of the city at night.

Characters: Superman, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Bucky Taylor, Perry White, Luigi Renasi, Salim Shah, Count von Luder

Listen for: The half-burned photographs found in the house, and Clark's theory that Renasi and Salim Shah are the keys to the plot.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
