What happens
Clark Kent and Bucky Taylor, the son of a late Daily Planet correspondent, seek help from Stuart Morgan, a federal investigator guarding the World Peace Organization. Bucky recalls two names his father mentioned before his death, Luigi Renasi and Salim Shah, and the pair question both men at a State Department dinner. Neither admits knowing Hobie Taylor, and Clark voices a doubt about them. Meanwhile, Lois Lane and Bucky receive a tip from Mr. Calkins about a house in West Acres and go to investigate, only to find the grounds protected by an electrified fence. This episode of The Adventures of Superman, originally broadcast on April 2, 1947, stops as the danger grows.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
