What happens
Clark Kent and Lois Lane investigate a string of strange accidents at Happy Land Farms, where someone seems to be trying to frighten the owner, Steve Graham, into selling. Kent suspects something of value lies in an abandoned copper mine on the property. Meanwhile, Jimmy Olsen is held captive by Alfredo, a South American caballero employed by Graham, and the two are left tied up in a remote cabin. The episode is part seven of The Adventures of Superman, a radio series first broadcast on April 11, 1945. The transcript ends with the pair trapped as the cabin catches fire.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
