What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen, with Tumbleweed Jones, return to a darkened theater where they once saw the magician Gambini perform. Kent reveals that the theater's owners leased it for one night to a man named Theodore Kalk, and that a neighboring theater on 49th Street was also leased to him. The pair discover a hidden door behind a billboard that connects the two buildings. Their search turns up footprints and a hidden dressing room, where they find Miss Sidney Reichroft, who explains she has been acting to protect them. As they try to leave, they find the metal door locked, and a turbaned servant appears, leading them toward his master.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
