What happens
Clark Kent, assigned to write a feature on Superman's most unusual adventure, recounts how Jimmy Olsen was taken to the planet Utopia by Anne Darr and Coco, two Utopians who wanted to convince the young reporter that their people planned to invade Earth. Jimmy and Anthar are jailed by the vicious regent Zadam and sentenced to death before a Senate packed with his loyal men. Jimmy is left hopeless, but the fat little rhymster Poco, who has learned from Jimmy that editor Perry White might reach Superman, sets out to get help. Clark, meanwhile, receives a late-night call from Burroughs at the Daily Planet and learns that a strange ball has crashed and that Poco is in St. John's Hospital. The series is The Adventures of Superman, and this installment aired on April 16, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
