What happens

Clark Kent and Lois Lane travel to the Harley Dam after the Yellow Mask threatens to flood the city of Dyerville unless a million dollars is paid within 36 hours. Kent reasons that the mask plans to destroy the dam, which holds back a ten-mile lake above the town. Along the mountain road, their car stops suddenly, and they are overpowered by the mask's henchman, Kino. Kent is tied up in an abandoned cabin, where Kino prepares a device that he says will kill them both. Kent breaks free, and he carries the unconscious Lois back toward the dam. There, the commissioner and the police find the dam beginning to shake, and the episode ends on this cliffhanger. The series is The Adventures of Superman, and this episode is dated March 27, 1940.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
