What happens
Clark Kent, the Daily Planet reporter, and Jimmy Olsen are investigating the death of Sydney, a mysterious man who once allied with the Atom Man. After an Arab intruder attacks Jimmy and later dies in custody, police find the same crescent-and-star brand on his body that appears on a coin from Sydney's apartment. Kent guesses that Sydney led a secret organization and that the symbol identifies its members. Kent then leaves Jimmy and goes to Bruce Wayne's home, where he asks for help contacting Batman, hoping to trace the symbol and locate the Scarlet Widow and the two pieces of Kryptonite. Wayne refuses to help until Kent explains why he came, and Kent struggles with whether to reveal his secret.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
