What happens
Superman and Clark Kent search the apartment of the dead Sidney, looking for clues to the Scarlet Widow, the woman who sold the stolen fragments of kryptonite. Jimmy Olsen finds a small metal disc in a dresser drawer, marked with a crescent and star, and Clark recalls seeing the same symbol on an empty letter. Clark goes downstairs to telephone for help identifying the symbol, leaving Jimmy alone in the bedroom. The episode is the first part of the Superman adventure Looking For Kryptonite, first broadcast on December 4, 1945, as heard in the transcript, which ends with a stranger creeping up behind Jimmy with a knife.
