What happens
Clark Kent waits in the office of District Attorney Frank Agnew for word from Jimmy Olsen and Jack Wilson, who have been drawn into a plot by agitators from the Knights of the White Carnation. The two boys pretended to go along with the group's hate-spreading plans, but they were taken away by the agents after failing to make a call. Kent grows anxious, and Superman begins to search for the missing boys after learning from the lunch wagon proprietor that they left in a car with a thin, pasty-faced man named Joe. The episode is part nine of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on March 10, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
