What happens
Clark Kent, the mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet, and Lois Lane are covering the opening day of Happy Land amusement park, owned by Nancy Bardet. Overhearing a threat from Midway Martin, owner of rival Carnival Town, Clark suspects Martin of plotting against Nancy. When a parade carriage bolts with Nancy and Lois aboard, Superman appears to rescue them. Afterward, Martin and his associate Kelly plan to frighten the public away from Happy Land's roller coaster, the Sky Chaser. The story ends on a cliffhanger, with Nancy about to ride the Sky Chaser and the outcome unresolved.
