What happens
Dr. Bly, a cunning gang leader hiding out at Playland amusement park in Metropolis, schemes to have Lois Lane take the blame for a shooting committed by Dixie Lamar, whom Lois resembles. Posing as press agent Mr. Hemingway, he invites Lois to Playland as a guest of honor. Lois arrives with Jimmy Olsen and Dick Grayson, who notices a sedan that seems to be following them. Mr. Hemingway guides the group toward a boat ride called the River of Horrors, and the episode ends with Lois vanishing into a dark tunnel. This is part two of the Adventures of Superman broadcast on September 6, 1945, from the Kellogg's Pep-sponsored radio series.
