What happens
Clark Kent, who is also Superman, works with Perry White and Jimmy Olsen at the Daily Planet in Metropolis. Tommy Lee, a Chinese boy who pitches for the Unity House baseball team, has been seized by hooded members of the Clan of the Fiery Cross, who plan to tar and feather him. Tommy escapes into the river and is badly hurt, and Superman rescues him and takes him to hospital. Tommy's father, Dr. Lee, has also been attacked. Kent and his colleagues work to identify the gang, and the episode ends with a flaming cross burning on Kent's lawn. This is part six of the Clan of the Fiery Cross serial from the Adventures of Superman radio series, first aired on June 17, 1946.
