What happens
Clark Kent, secretly Superman, recovers in Florida with his editor Perry White after his battle with Henry Miller, the atom man. Miller, an atomic-powered villain, plots with the fat spy Sidney to destroy Superman, and Sidney suspects Clark Kent is the hero. Miller reasons that exposing Superman to his radioactive power while keeping the power in reserve could finish him. Back in Florida, Clark wakes refreshed, but he is anxious about Miller and the phone calls from Dr. Millison. He leaves for Metropolis to visit Millison's laboratory, where he hopes to obtain a device that can detect kryptonite. The episode is from The Adventures of Superman, first aired on 1945-11-14, and the transcript does not name the lead actors.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
