What happens
Henry Miller and his associate Sidney, with the German chemist Joseph Bush, work in a Metropolis attic laboratory to dissolve a fragment of Kryptonite. Miller hopes to restore the atomic powers that made him a monster after his battle with Superman. The men argue over the formula, and Miller's young assistant Toypil recalls a detail his father once used. Meanwhile Clark Kent, still dazed from his fight with the atom man, is flown away from Metropolis by editor Perry White, who urges him to rest in Florida. This recap covers the early part of the episode, from the Kryptonite experiment through the first stretch of Kent's flight.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
