What happens

Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen investigate a series of mysterious plane crashes at Bridger Field, a remote airfield near Del Rio. Jimmy overhears two circus performers, the strongman Podor and animal trainer Professor Hagin, discussing a coming event at the airfield. The reporters search the circus shack and discover a trapdoor leading to a tunnel and an underground chamber containing a radio. Confronted by Podor, Kent subdues the strongman in a scuffle, and the two then search the hideout for evidence. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Kent focuses on a piece of paper he has found, with the new aircraft due to arrive at the field soon.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
