What happens

Commander Corry and Cadet Happy of the Space Patrol are sent to Mars after reports that Prince Baccarati has been seen in Lowell City. Meanwhile, Dr. Loring asks the Space Patrol to help locate the wreck of the Black Star, a spaceship lost on Mars centuries ago. Baccarati, posing as Mr. Sardani, offers to finance the search, and Dr. Lauren joins the expedition. Through the Space Patrol's pursuit across the Martian landscape, the wreck is found, and the search for the lost treasure begins.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
