What happens

Buzz Corry and Happy land a robot ship on Planet X, where they are confronted by two men in work clothes. Earlier, Prince Baccarati had established an empire on the distant world, backed by the scientist Dr. Melangro, and has abducted hundreds of people from the United Planets to work for him. Buzz plans a careful approach to the stronghold, since a full attack would endanger the captives. Meanwhile, a native of Planet X encounters two men who appear to have been coated in plastic, and they claim to serve Prince Baccarati. The story follows the schemes of the prince and his henchmen as they pursue information about Space Patrol's secrets. Space Patrol is the series title, and this episode first aired on August 29, 1953.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
