What happens

Buzz Corey and his companion Happy follow a stolen scout tank across the Martian desert to a wooded area near an old wreck. There they find a girl scientist, Miss Loyan, captured by strangers in primitive masks. Happy falls into a concealed pit, and a masked man holding a spear confronts the Space Patrolmen. The strangers prove to be descendants of crash survivors who have spent centuries cut off from their origins. The story is part of the Space Patrol series and aired on June 5, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
