What happens

Buzz Corey and Happy investigate when the automatic instrument station on Jupiter's second moon fails and its atmosphere dome vanishes. Back on Jupiter, the city of Chargon is covered by a swarm of strange beetle-like insects that gnaw through the plastic shell over the city, and the air grows dangerous. Corey, Happy and Dr. William Conrad work to hold the dome together while Major Robertson leads efforts to clear the insects. Space Patrol is a radio series from the early 1950s, and this episode first aired on February 21, 1953, with Ed Kemmer as Commander Corey. The story continues beyond the point where this account ends.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
