What happens

Commander Corey and Cadet Happy investigate a criminal, Reese Corbett, who forces a released prisoner, Don Blake, to hand over a personal diary. Space Patrol is an early-1950s radio adventure series, and this episode aired on December 12, 1953. Blake had warned the officers of a mysterious stranger, and the pair track clues about a spaceship called the Condor to Jupiter City Space Port. There they find Mr. Sykes, a former pilot now working as a mechanic, who once owned the ship. The trail leads them to Saturn's fifth moon, where a salvage operation is underway amid the wreckage. The officers must act quickly as the events on the moon unfold.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
