What happens

Commander Buzz Corry and Cadet Happy investigate a brawl in Pluto City, where they rescue prospector Sam Morris from two thugs. Morris, who claims to be a government watchman, is later attacked again, and a neurologist's lab is burgled by men seeking traces of a rare mineral. Morris has been working at an abandoned exploration base far to the north, and Corry and Happy must reach him before the gang does. The story is set on the frozen planet Pluto, where people live beneath a thin atmosphere shell. This is an episode of the radio series Space Patrol, broadcast on the American Broadcasting Company Radio Network on February 12, 1955.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
