What happens

Buzz Corey and Happy Hogan of the Space Patrol are trapped on the polar ice cap of Planet X after Prince Baccaratti flees in a ship. Commander Corey has forced Baccaratti to evacuate hundreds of enslaved natives from the mines of Panadex. Baccaratti hatches a plan to overpower Corey using a gas cylinder hidden in his quarters, and he enlists a giant native named Grannu, who has been driven out by his own people, to attack the Space Patrol men. Corey and Happy must now survive the cold and the native giant while the fate of the captive workers hangs in the balance. The space adventure is broadcast in the Space Patrol series with its original air date of October 10, 1953.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
