What happens
Commander Buzz Corey and Cadet Happy investigate Gaston Charn, a scientist on Venus suspected of stealing a hundred pounds of the rare mineral Zolanite. At Charn's mountain tower, a lightning strike destroys the top of the tower and an endurium platform seems to vanish. Later, Buzz and Happy find a disc-shaped object hovering above Venus, defying gravity. Happy boards the disc and is carried toward the planet when it falls. The story continues with Corey and Happy trying to recover the disc and its mineral.
