What happens

Secret Agent K-7 Returns is an old-time radio adventure in which special agent B-9 and Rita Drake pursue a dangerous spy after a deadly poison gas formula. The story opens when a cablegram arrives warning that the spy Zora LaValle is after the formula of a gas developed by the old chemist Dr. Delamah. B-9 and Rita travel to the chemist's city, where LaValle has already spoken with him. The story follows their attempt to trace her and to intercept her on a train.

A modern city and a continent-spanning railroad journey in the era of international spies, with a train passing through the night.

Characters: K-7, B-9, Rita Drake, Dr. Delamah, Zora LaValle, John Holbrook

Listen for: Listen for the cablegram announcing that a poison gas formula has been tested, and for the moment the train compartment becomes the scene of a confrontation.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
