What happens
Tim Baker, an American pilot flying bombers to England for pay, falls out with his former sweetheart Carol Brown, who is now an entertainer in London. Carol is seeing Wing Commander Morley, Tim's commanding officer in the RAF, and the pair clash over her affections and his conduct. Tim's romantic rivalry with Morley grows as he insists on his claim to Carol while the squadron faces a bombing mission over Germany. Tim and Carol argue over marriage and the nature of their relationship, and the tension intensifies as the war and Tim's duties press in on them. Starring Tyrone Power, Betty Grable and John Sutton, this Screen Guild Theater broadcast, aired on October 26, 1942, follows the romantic and wartime story as it develops.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
