What happens
Coffee Cup, a sailor on leave, returns to the Duncan household, where his friend Pokey and Pokey's sister Dot live. Steven Herrick, Dot's boss at a shipping firm, becomes involved in their lives as Coffee Cup tries to raise money for a wedding by betting on a bet that Eddie can grow four inches. Screen Guild Theater presents this 1944 episode, first broadcast on October 9, 1944, starring William Gargan, Lucille Ball and George Murphy. The story turns on a wager, a borrowed ring and a rehearsal at a wedding chapel.
