What happens
Bill Weldon, an advertising man, and his wife Margaret, who once worked with him at the Crookshank agency, try to save money for a honeymoon in Bermuda. Bill's slogan earns them a $5,000 bonus, but Margaret's interference leaves him sore. Their eccentric partner, Professor Glinka, then offers an embalming fluid and a hair-removal cream, which the couple turns into a series of business schemes. This is an episode of the Screen Directors Playhouse on NBC, first broadcast on May 22, 1949, starring Lucille Ball and Elliot Lewis, and introducing the director S. Sylvan Simon.
Hollywood, California, in the late 1940s, including the Crookshank advertising agency, the Weldons' home and a garage used by Professor Glinka.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
