What happens
Ranger Bill Jefferson and his friend Stumpy watch over the forest while a burst dam sends floodwater toward the valley. Henry, a young Christian, tries to bring his skeptical friend Fred to belief in God through hikes and conversation. The two boys set out into the woods, where Fred is hurt in a deep gully and Henry must find a way to get help. Ranger Bill warns the men in the towers and rides out to find the boys before the water arrives. This episode is from the Ranger Bill series, first aired on December 20, 1961, and it was produced by the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
