What happens

Ranger Bill and his fellow rangers respond when summer homes around Goose Lake are wrecked and ransacked. Martin Herbinger and other owners blame the rangers for letting bears roam near town, and Bill answers that the damage comes from food left in the cabins. Bill then tracks the culprit by its paw prints and recognises a grizzly he had exiled to the wilderness two years earlier. The rangers set a steel cage with bait, and the story follows their efforts to catch the bear and move it back to a remote area. The episode aired on November 14, 1956 in the Ranger Bill series.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
