What happens
Ranger Bill, joined by his friend Stumpy and their mapmaker companion George Nelson, travels up the Amazon on a vacation turned expedition. They have spotted an overgrown old Portuguese fort from the air and plan to explore it. Local guide Casadel refuses to discuss the fort until he is pressed, then tells a legend of a guarding spirit that keeps people away. The episode is a part of the Ranger Bill series, and the transcript does not give its original air date or the lead actors.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
