What happens
Gus McDougall, owner of a bus line, reports that his drivers are seeing ghostly animals leaping onto the forest road at night, and the accidents that follow threaten his business. Ranger Bill and his fellow Rangers are asked to help him stop the road ghosts. The Rangers search the stretch of road where the trouble happens, and Gus begins to doubt his own explanation as the reports keep coming. This episode of the Ranger Bill radio series is one of its stories of forest adventure, presented with the program's usual wholesome moral tone.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
