What happens
Pinto Pete and his Ranch Boys gather around a campfire at the end of a day on the trail. The cowboys sing together to lift their spirits, starting with the lively song Polly Wolly Doodle. Their singing moves from one tune to the next, bringing out the warmth and fellowship of the men as the evening settles in. Later, the group hears the call of a wolf echoing across the valley, and the mood shifts toward quiet reflection under the stars. The episode is part of the Pinto Pete and His Ranch Boys series.
A cowboys' campfire in a valley on the western trail, at evening
Characters: Pinto Pete, Ranch Boys
Listen for: The lively opening song Polly Wolly Doodle, the wolf's howl echoing across the valley, and the cowboys' sing-along.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
