What happens
The Pacific Story presents the history of the Moros, Muslim people of Mindanao in the Philippines, and their long resistance to outside invaders. Dattu Piang, their leader, sends word of loyalty to the United States as Japanese forces move across his island two months after Pearl Harbor. The program traces how the Moros fought Javanese raiders, Spanish conquerors led by Estuban Rodriguez, and later American forces, relying on their razor-sharp creese and barong blades. It describes Moro warriors sailing against Spanish settlements at Iloilo and the American campaign on Mount Bagsak. The episode ends with the Japanese infiltration of Davao and the Moros falling back into the hills.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
