What happens

The Shadow, a wealthy man who fights crime in secret, investigates the mysterious deaths of Dr. Romney Hale and two of his assistants after they viewed the mummy of the Egyptian pharaoh King Kuprateep in a newly reassembled tomb at the City Museum. Newspapers blame a curse, but the blood of the victims shows a strange absence of white corpuscles. Margo, his companion, assists him as he looks into the museum staff and their backgrounds, with the museum's director and other staff members, including Mr. Raffarty, appearing as the investigation proceeds. Their inquiries lead them toward the men who worked on the expedition and the tomb itself.

The City Museum and its newly reassembled Egyptian tomb of King Kuprateep, with the surrounding city.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
