What happens

Harry Lime, a sharp-tongued opportunist down on his luck in Mexico City, receives a confession note from a dying pickpocket named Bono Minoso. The note reveals that an innocent man, Vicente Coelio, was framed for murder seventeen years ago in the small town of Leon, and that evidence proving his innocence was hidden there. Lime approaches Coelio's daughter, Alicia, offering to find the papers in exchange for a large fee. The two travel to Leon, where the search for the affidavit begins, and Lime finds himself pursued by a rival.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
