What happens
An American newcomer, who has been stranded in a Central American capital during a revolution, meets a cockney-speaking Englishman in a waterfront cafe. The Englishman points him toward El Zorro, a New York gangster financing the revolution, and the American is drawn into a scheme to recover a million dollars that the gangster has taken. Brought before the general's men, the American is ordered to find the fugitive and bring him back to a waiting yacht. Lime is cast as a Mercury Theatre on the Air episode from 1951, adapted from The Third Man, and the story follows the American's efforts to carry out the assignment in a city where he is watched at every turn.
A Central American capital during a revolution, including a waterfront cafe, a hotel, a night club, a city street called Hot Dog Alley, and a yacht off the coast of Havana.

Listen for: The meeting in the waterfront cafe with the Englishman, and the nightclub scene with Consuelo.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
