What happens

Harry Lime, a con man, travels to Agra to find a wealthy target. On the train he meets Mrs. Hayley, a missionary's wife seeking 3,000 pounds for an orphanage, and offers to approach Lady Edith Benham on the mission's behalf. Lime meets Lady Edith at the Taj Mahal by moonlight and their conversation turns romantic. Mrs. Hayley's story, The Third Man series, the Mercury Theatre on the Air broadcast of March 21, 1952, and the actor Orson Welles as Lime are all presented in the episode.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
