What happens
Harry Lime, an American in London in 1938, is asked by his companion Telly to skip a film so she can wait while he takes a job interviewing Senor Senya Alvarez, a South American jeweler. Alvarez is in London to photograph and measure the crown jewels of Bokovia, including the Bohemian Star, a huge diamond, so he can make replicas for a museum. Harry offers to take the interview in his place, and he and Alvarez arrange to visit the vault where the jewels are kept under insurance guard. Alvarez and his associate Manuel then plot to steal the diamond and fly to New York. The story concerns the jewels and the men who want them, and it is told in the Mercury Theatre's radio drama style, with Orson Welles starring.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
