What happens

Dan and Barbara Glenn's publishing house acts out a new novel, a story about a circus side show called Wonderland. The side show's staff, including the bearded lady Millie, the strongman Della, the sword swallower Giuseppe and the paralyzed Enigma, are tangled in resentments toward the domineering midget Major Tembo. When Tembo is found stabbed inside a dollhouse prop after a magic illusion, the performers begin to suspect each other and the mute Enigma is questioned about what he witnessed. The guide ends at the point where the performers start turning on one another and the police are on their way.

A traveling circus side show tent, the Wonderland Circus, where a murder occurs during a magic act.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
